Fundraising

Together with the team, we engaged with members of the public and various stakeholders across the district to raise awareness and encourage donations for the cause. Through these interactions, I developed stronger communication and interpersonal skills by learning how to confidently engage with individuals from different backgrounds and explain the purpose of the initiative in a clear and meaningful manner.

The experience also strengthened my teamwork and collaboration skills as we worked together to coordinate outreach efforts and support the fundraising activities throughout the event. Interacting with the public helped me improve my confidence in stakeholder engagement while reinforcing the importance of empathy whilst being professional!
